For the VKollective exhibition, which celebrated 50+ years of VK Group's work and contributions to the built environment, a commemorative memento was designed to honour Pune's Change-makers and their impact on the city. The challenge was to move beyond the conventional trophy and create an object that felt unique in its identity, visually engaging in its form and texture, and unlike anything the recipients had received before. At the same time, the memento needed to celebrate Pune itself. The design explored ways of capturing the city's culture, heritage, and character, transforming the award into more than a symbol of recognition—it became a reflection of the city and the people helping shape its future.

Pune's identity is deeply rooted in its architectural heritage, cultural traditions, vibrant festivals, and strong sense of community. From historic landmarks and wada architecture to public celebrations that bring people together, the city is defined by visual and cultural cues that are instantly recognizable and closely tied to its character. These references became the foundation of the memento's design. The map of Pune, a distinct visual in itself, formed the base of the composition, with additional graphic elements inspired by the city's heritage and culture integrated to create a unique representation of its identity. This illustration was then transformed into a 3D-printed sculptural form and framed between polished wooden panels, creating a contemporary yet timeless object that celebrates both the city and the individuals who have contributed to its growth.

Iterations of the idea were explored where the topography of Pune city was highlighted creating an interesting sculptural form .
In another option, the same illustration was printed on acrylic with gold outlines.
